Hellooooo! Hope you’ve had a good week so far. Wait, no, actually I hope you’ve had a GREAT week. Because why not? You’re doing the best you can so be nice to yourself.
I decided to do another wisdom post even though I’m not really feeling that wisdomous this week. Maybe I just wanted to show off my fairy lights… Hmm, I’ll ponder on that a while. Whilst I do, here’s my piece of, well, not advice really but more like general helpful thoughts.
Take time to relax. You may think you don’t have time to stop as you’ve got to do this, that and more, and yes, sometimes you do. But you also need to have some you time. So trust me, sit down with a cup of tea/coffee/mulled wine/beverage of your choice, turn on some fairy lights and read a book/watch TV/relaxation method of your choice, just because you can do so without worrying about anything else.
How can you not worry when you know you’ve got a pile of washing to do and dirty dishes that are considering fleeing your household in the hopes of a better life on the streets? Because it’s just as important (if not more important) than all the other things you think you need to do. Also, all the other things will feel a lot easier to tackle once you’ve had some time to rest and unwind. Schedule it in your day if you need to, but get it done. Relax.
