Days 10 & 11 – Planting & Photo-Shopping

Hi everyone! I hope you’ve all had a great weekend, whether you’ve been busy or catching up with some much needed quiet time. I’ve been doing a bit of both myself. Working, recovering, resting, reading, etc. In fact, that’s what this post is about – what have I been up to over the past 2 days?

Planting & Photo-Shopping

On Saturday I was at work for the first half of the day, but when I came home my husband had already laid out everything we needed to (finally) get round to building our little succulent garden bowl. Some quick background information: Last week we went on an impromptu trip to a garden centre where I bought a pile of cute little succulents, promising I’d plant them ASAP (as if that was going to happen). I then ordered some stuff from Amazon, describing the idea of the finished project to my hubby who then took quite a bit of interested in it. Anyway, fast forward to Saturday and there we were…

… With a very curious Mischief inspecting our work, making sure that we were doing everything the right way and even lending us a helping paw when he thought we needed one. Thanks to our combined efforts, that’s the end result. A cute little fairy garden.

On Sunday I was still recovering, getting some house chores done and reading my (super scary) book. I thought that would be my day sorted. However, then I got a message from my sister-in-law and off we went. Shopping. Shopping for household items, to be more precise. I did actually buy some things, but mostly I was photo-shopping. Confused? Well, you know window shopping? Photo-shopping is essentially the same thing, but I take photos of the things that I like the most. That gives me a nice inspiration library and comes handy when I decide that I actually want to buy all the everything that I’ve seen and fallen in love with.

That was my weekend. What did you get up to? Also, let me know what you think of our little fairy garden and whether I should’ve bought anything from my photo-shopping trip?

See you tomorrow! (Or the day after… Who knows at this point?)
