My life

I didn’t buy ANY new clothes in September. Take that you self diagnosed shopaholic and hoarder me. Feels nice. Although… now what? Uhmm. No new clothes in October? NO NEW CLOTHES IN OCTOBER! Woohooo!

I feel like I should take it to the next level though. Actually upcycle some of the stuff that I’ve had planned for years. Yes! That’s what I shall do. I shall MAKE old clothes new in October. Or, well, at least one if not plural.

Uh oh, did I just commit myself to a project? With a deadline? Uh, does turning a t-shirt into a scarf count? That’s about the level of creativity I’m feeling at the moment. We’ll see, I guess. The month is only young. Literally just started.

That reminds me, I need to go flip my calendars. /—-/ I’m back! Calendars have been flipped and new pictures have been revealed.

Question – how many people still have wall or desk calendars? I think for me it’s just one of those traditions. We would always get cute animal calendars for Yule when me and my sisters were little. And it’s carried on to my adulthood. I can’t imagine not having at least one calendar up on my wall.

It simply looks soooooooo cosy, doesn’t it? Plus, it’s also an exercise of will. Do you know how hard it is for me to not check what the next month’s picture is? The answer is VERY! But as I lack in willpower when it comes to a lot of things, I take what I can when an opportunity arises to improve.

Anyway, that’s far enough off the course of my initial thoughts when I began writing today. Time for a quick nap before I go to work maybe? Yes, I feel like it is.

Till next time,
